Screening happened first, then I interviewed with Directors and then Managers for the final call. They told me I'd get a phone call about their decision. A week after that, I followed up and was told I'd hear more after interviews happening the next week. A week after that, I followed up again. No response. It was disappointing not to hear back in the end.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was about what I expected. It took three rounds and was very informative. They asked a lot of standard questions about my past experience and sales results. They were interested in my strategy for selling to key accounts. I first spoke with a recruiter, then a sales manager, and finally the VP of Sales.

It started with a 20-minute phone screen where they asked some basic background questions and simple technical questions, like 'describe encapsulation'. Then there was a single 3-hour block of interviews, all done remotely. The first part was a technical interview involving a LeetCode Easy problem. After that, there was a behavioral interview, followed by a task to solve a bug in real code. It was a simple bug, but applicable to day-to-day work and a bit tricky, similar in difficulty to a LeetCode Medium problem. I really liked this interview process; if all Software Engineer interviews were like this, the industry would be much better.

Behavioral Technical

So, I went through this interview process that felt like a total black hole for about two months. It was super disorganized and a lot of waiting around without any updates. After five rounds of interviews, I still got zero feedback and was completely ghosted. They didn't even tell me what to expect in terms of interview type; it was a mix of behavioral and technical stuff with no warning. You never knew if you'd be asked about leadership or how to set up some specific cloud tool. Honestly, it was a long, messy, and confusing experience, and I'd say just avoid it if you can.
