The recruitment process felt deceptive and unnecessarily complicated. They made candidates complete three screening tests (logic, Excel, and typing) before even speaking to a person for a phone screening. After I passed these tests, I had a meeting with HR, who then informed me that their salary offer was 50K lower than the amount advertised in the job description. Following the HR meeting, candidates are expected to take an 'AI test', come into the office to meet the team, work on a project, and then have final rounds with senior management. This whole process seems to expect candidates and employees to go above and beyond without considering their time, which feels like taking advantage of the current job market. First there was a screening with an IQ test and a typing test. Then an online digital marketing exam that lasted 45 minutes. After that, an interview which included a memory test and questions about why digital marketing and the company specifically, followed by a discussion about the company and time for questions.

It was a weird interview process that took like 2 months. Started with a typing test, then an HR chat, then I did a timed task. After that, I presented the task to the Creative Director, then had an in-person chat with the head of creative, and finished with a video call with the CEO. They kept giving me good feedback and talked a lot about the workload, expecting overtime, and the current 'low vibe' from the team. All that, and I got a rejection email saying I didn't fit their current needs? Later, an external recruiter called me about this job, and I had to explain I'd already gone through the whole thing, which confused her too.

The interview process was really weird. It had two rounds of totally online assessments before I talked to someone on a voice call with cameras off. That part was chill, but the recruiter seemed kinda rushed when I asked stuff, and the assessments were strange. The recruiter made a big deal about the free meals, which made me think there aren't other perks. I was told the last round was all behavioral and I didn't need to prep. But, the final round turned out to be a data test where I had to look at an Excel sheet and discuss it with the interviewer. This totally blindsided me and was unprofessional because they didn't mention it beforehand. People shouldn't be surprised by the process, so I guess I'm glad I didn't end up working there.
