I had an initial call with HR in the US, which was great. We discussed company values and employee treatment. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, which also went well. After that, I was ghosted. I sent multiple follow-up emails asking for feedback, especially given the role's seniority, but they were all ignored. I eventually stopped trying. It was really surprising and disappointing, especially since they promote integrity and good values so much on their website and during the interview. I'd be hesitant to deal with Weir again after this.

I was contacted on LinkedIn by Weir about a frontend developer position. After applying, I gave my availability for a call. Then, a Technical Recruiter reached out and said that due to 'changed requirements,' my application was no longer a fit, without any details. It felt like a waste of time and made me question their hiring process fairness. Candidates shouldn't be approached if a role isn't confirmed or requirements aren't set. It shows disorganization and disrespect for candidate time, implying poor company management. I wouldn't recommend their recruitment team unless they improve internal alignment, communication, and fairness. Based on this, I'd tell others to think twice before joining a company that operates this way.

It was engaging. I had a first round of Interview with the recruiter from the US. After the interview, the recruiter said she was gonna bring up my resume to the Hiring Manager for the second stage of the Interview. Having send in my "Thank you" letter after 24 hrs. Immediately I got a rejection from Weir Minerals.
