Account Associate
I applied online and immediately got an email for a phone interview. It was a quick and easy screening. Then I scheduled an in-house interview and tour and flew to DC. I was really nervous because of the Glassdoor reviews, but the actual interview wasn't as bad as I expected. There were no major curveball questions, and the interviewers seemed interested in me. I did have to do an on-the-spot sales pitch, which I think I handled okay, though I made some mistakes. After that, I shadowed a sales rep for about 40 minutes, but she mostly got answering machines and I didn't hear an actual pitch. A few days later, I had one more phone interview with the sales manager. This is where things went downhill. She was about 15 minutes late, seemed uninterested, and rushed me off the phone. It really annoyed me, but I still thought I would get an offer because I was qualified. A few days later, I got an email saying there were too many candidates, which I found odd since they always seem to be hiring for sales associates. Overall, I don't think I would have thrived there based on what I've read.

Sales Associate
I applied online and got a call back the next day to set up a phone interview with a recruiter. It went well and was super informative, the recruiter was really nice and enthusiastic. Since I live out of the DC area, they asked me to do a second interview via video and I felt pretty good about it after the first chat. But honestly, the second one felt more like an interrogation than an interview. A past reviewer mentioned a 'good cop, bad cop' vibe and I totally felt that. One interviewer was aggressive, arrogant, and just plain rude sometimes. They started with normal questions, but then they twisted my answers and questioned/second-guessed me a lot. He spent so much time doing that, we didn't even get to do a sales pitch. Maybe WeddingWire does this to see how you handle pressure, but I think a more positive interaction would show more. I left feeling really down and wasn't even sure I wanted the job. Honestly, I was relieved when they didn't offer it to me.

Account Executive
It was a stressful and lengthy interview process. It began with a phone chat with the recruiter. Following that, I had to prepare for a final Skype interview. This included a homework assignment that took quite some time, preparing for a mock call, and answering general interview questions. Honestly, I don't think the 10 hours I spent preparing were worth it. The Skype interview was with two managers: one was a regional sales manager and the other was from the sales development department. They definitely used a good cop/bad cop approach. The sales development person was a bit condescending with her questions, making it feel like a 'mean girl' situation. Overall, it was a tough interview, but I'm glad I went through it. Best of luck to anyone else going for this remote job!

Customer Success Associate
Applied online and then got an email about a month later for a phone interview with a recruiter who was friendly but didn't know much about the company. During the call, I asked about CS training and she had no clue. Then I was invited for an on-site interview a few days later. I was about 30 minutes late being greeted for the on-site. Had two sets of in-person interviews with CS managers, about two per set. They were all great, but I was led out by the managers with no info on next steps. I sent thank you emails and followed up multiple times over three weeks with no response. Finally, about a month after the interview, I got a generic, bcc'd email referencing a 'mock call' I never did, saying I should schedule a call for good news. Two hours later, the recruiter called, also mentioning the mock call, and offered me the job without detailing benefits. I had to ask for the benefits. I was told I could pick my start date initially, but then was told it was chosen for me. She then gave me three hours to accept so others could start the same day. I asked for more time, and was given until the next morning. I was also told the offer letter would come after I accepted.
- Tell me about your past experiences and how you would manage specific scenarios.
- Can you explain what the Customer Success training involves?
