Technical Behavioral

The whole interview experience was bad. The manager had terrible communication skills. She talked really fast with a heavy accent which made it hard to understand her. Her questions were also confusing and not clear, they seemed jumbled. It felt like a fast-paced quiz rather than an evaluation of core skills. She even corrected me at one point, but she just repeated what I said using a different term. This showed she didn't really know the technical stuff. The interview felt messy and pointless, and it gave me a bad impression of her and the company.

It was pretty chill and really open. Senior folks chatted with me about ideas and asked about my background. Then we dove into technical stuff, like how aircraft mechanics work. The VP and others asked me why I was going into this field and wanted to know about my past experience that would be useful.

Behavioral Technical

So Webster Bank's interview process started with a phone screen that was supposed to happen, but they kept rescheduling it, which was kinda a bummer. I prepped a lot for it, and then ended up talking to three people. One of the interviews felt really intense, like an interrogation, and honestly, a lot of the questions didn't seem related to the job. They said they'd get back to me in a week after I sent thank-you notes, but I never heard anything. It was pretty disappointing given how tough the job market is and how much candidates appreciate feedback.

Behavioral Presentation

My experience interviewing at Webster Bank was terrible. Despite some initial positive signs with the hiring manager, the process was plagued by disorganization and poor communication. Several interviews were canceled, and when I finally had my last interview scheduled, no one showed up after I waited for 15 minutes in the virtual waiting room. This wasn't the only scheduling hiccup; the HR rep was unprofessional and rude. A prior interview also felt stilted and unprepared, with no time for my questions, and my follow-up was ignored. Ultimately, despite my waiting for the final call, they claimed I didn't show up and wouldn't proceed. I can't recommend this company due to its chaotic and mismanaged hiring process.
