Head Credit Controller
The interview process was smooth, starting with get-to-know-you questions, then moving on to technical questions. After that, there were questions about ethical and professional job conduct. Lastly, I had the opportunity to ask my own questions and get a better understanding of the type of recruit they were looking for.
- Can you describe how your combined skill set and experience have shaped you professionally and personally?
Technical Assistant
The interview process is lengthy and demanding. To cope, ensure you have other opportunities lined up and meticulously document every step. You'll be given a problem; proceed to their required system and log it as a ticket. Subsequently, send out some emails. After that, you're pretty much set.
- Were you asked generic, common questions?
- Could you describe your greatest strengths and areas for improvement?
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a significant obstacle and how you managed to get past it?
Graduate Student
It wasn't too tough, but I wasn't really ready for it. I only practiced the general questions, not the ones specific to the company and the job I was applying for. My advice to anyone applying is to make sure you're well-prepared for your interview because you won't be the only one who gets shortlisted for the role.
- Could you tell us more about yourself?
Information Systems Security Officer
Started with a manager and HR call, which was pleasant and fine. Then there was a second round with the director(s). Sadly, no feedback came after the director interviews, which was disappointing and a bit of a turn-off. The communication was alright, but it felt a bit disorganized regarding when the interviews would be, as they didn't share the timings well in advance.
- Can you introduce yourself and walk me through your work history?
- What are your future career goals?
- What about this position attracts you, and why do you believe you're the best fit?
