The recruiters were awesome. They were really clear and open, which helped me prepare and understand what to expect throughout the hiring process. Because it's a Director role, there were quite a few steps, but everyone I met was super nice.

It took them a week to send the interview invite after they said they wanted to interview me. I even tried to back out because it was so unprofessional, but they convinced me to do it anyway. Then, the Director of Finance said I wasn't a good fit, which he could have easily seen from my resume. The whole team seemed disorganized and disrespectful of people's time.

The recruiter reached out first with some standard questions before I met with the Director. I really enjoyed meeting the Director, who gave me a tour of the unit and introduced me to some of the team. After that, I had a panel interview with other APCD employees, which I felt was a good way to see if I'd be a good fit for the organization. Finally, I had a great conversation with the assistant vice president of acute care services, and I left feeling confident and like this could be a place I could call home.

Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter. Had a phone screening. Was told the next step would be a 1:1 interview. After waiting days with no word, got an email saying the hiring manager hadn't given feedback. Sent an email after a month to check status but still haven't heard back, not even a rejection. It's like they ghosted me, leaving me in limbo and making me hesitant to apply again.
