Behavioral Case Presentation

I applied in early November and heard back the next day. The interview process was quite long, though. My first interview was initially set, but then cancelled just 10 minutes before it was supposed to start. I ended up rescheduling it myself. The interviews I had were with HR, then the hiring manager, followed by a case study, and finally, an interview with the Chief Operations Officer. While all the interviews seemed to go really well and I got consistently positive feedback, they weren't great with deadlines. They'd say they'd get back to me by a certain day but wouldn't. The end of the process was particularly disappointing. They told me an offer was expected on Friday. Then, on Friday at 6 PM, I received a call informing me that an internal candidate had applied and they needed to proceed with that person. I was patient and waited, only to find out the position ultimately went to the internal candidate, who had applied just a few days prior. The follow-up was really poor, even though I understood their focus on promoting internal mobility.

The process started with an interview with the director of the Talent Acquisition team. She would then let you know if you passed. She said yes, but I withdrew my application because she didn't seem professional during my interview. She acted like it was an interrogation and not a conversation. Also, she seemed unfriendly and I didn't feel comfortable. She only gave me 2 minutes to ask questions, which is not normal. It's a shame because on Linkedin, she shows great interest in candidate experience, but in reality, she's terrible at it.

I had a great interview experience and a fantastic training program. There were three interview stages, and at each stage, the interviewers asked questions, listened to us, and made it a two-way conversation. They were also transparent about their vision for the team and happy to share feedback. The hiring process was quick, with decisions made in about a week, which gave candidates peace of mind. After acceptance, the HR lead provided a recap to ensure we had the necessary information. The onboarding process was smooth with a few simple procedures. The month-long training program was well-planned, well-paced, and supportive, making time fly by. I am confident in the team and wish potential candidates a great job-hunting process!

Behavioral Technical Other

I had 2 interviews: one call with HR and one video call with the CEO of Vestiaire Collective. The HR call was 30-45 minutes via video/call, focusing on standard HR questions like introducing myself, my professional project, and what motivates me about the role. They also explained the recruitment context and process. The interview with the founder, Fanny M, started normally but then included forbidden and discriminatory questions. She first assumed my origin, then asked about it, and then asked if I had children. These 3 questions were inappropriate and discriminatory from the founder of Vestiaire Collective, which I found shameful and disrespectful. After this, I understood she didn't want a Black person as her assistant, so I had already blacklisted the company. They also failed to meet feedback deadlines; the HR person was supposed to get back to me in 2-3 days but took 10 days. I have a very bad impression of the founder of Vestiaire Collective.
