The hiring process started with resume shortlisting, followed by an aptitude test which took about 78 minutes and included psychometric and aptitude assessments. Next was a group discussion (GD) lasting 10-15 minutes, which was quite easy. Finally, there was a technical and HR interview that lasted around 30 minutes. The aptitude test was moderately difficult. During the interview, they ask basic questions, some of which were repeated from previous interviews. It's important to have a good grasp of the project details mentioned in your resume. I didn't make it for other reasons, but the interview was generally easy to moderate. Someone who prepares for a few weeks should be able to clear it easily.

Case Behavioral Technical

So for the marketing internship at Vedanta, first they screen your application. Then there's like a short test, could be aptitude or a case study. If you pass that, you get an interview where they wanna see if you get marketing concepts, what projects you've done, and if you're interested in their industry. I felt my experience with branding and market research stuff fit what they were looking for, since they want interns who can jump in and help right away.

The interview process has three rounds: first, a written test with General Aptitude, then a Group Discussion which could be technical or non-technical, and finally an Interview with both HR and Technical officials. People get filtered out after each round. Usually, 5 to 10 people reach the final interview, and 2 to 4 are selected. This is the typical way it goes, but it could change depending on what the company needs.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Regarding technical aspects, can you discuss the applications and current trends relevant to your electrical engineering background?
  • How would you cope with challenging conditions and working far from home?
  • Could you share any relevant experience you have, such as internships?
