Behavioral

The interview process involved an initial informational chat, followed by a 45-minute interview focusing on behavioral questions. They asked about my motivation, university experiences, and any relevant skills I might have. Overall, the vibe was pretty relaxed, and it seemed like they prioritized finding someone who would be a good cultural fit rather than someone with deep industry knowledge.

Behavioral Other

The interview went really well, I felt confident answering everything. I did my homework on competitors' projects, and the vibe was great. It was all positive until they heard my salary expectations, which were just a bit over the minimum, even with my 4 years of experience doing the exact same thing. The very next day, the hiring manager relisted the job on LinkedIn, but this time for a working student role. It really seemed like they just wanted someone cheaper! I got the bad news by phone the following week.

So there were two rounds of interviews, both online and about 40 minutes each. The first one was more general but still professional, mostly asking about the project descriptions. The second round dug more into the daily challenges and technical skills needed for the job. The whole process was very professional, friendly, and respectful, leaving a really positive impression.
