It was an easy process, with friendly people. It included a multiple choice arithmetic test and a problem. There were two rounds, one with HR, and one with the department head. They asked questions about my past experience and how I handle situations.

Technical Behavioral

Applied end of July 2024. It took two months overall. Got a call about a month later and did a Bryq personality test. Heard nothing back for another month. Then, I got another call and they set up a technical interview. Interviewed with a principal software engineer. The interaction was pleasant and I felt good about it. They said I'd hear about the next step, but never did. Would have been nice to get a rejection email.

I was really looking forward to this company's interview process. It felt pretty professional, at least to the part I got to. First, I had to do this cognitive assessment. Then, there was an HR interview where they mostly asked about my education (like my Bachelor's) and my past work experience. After that, I had a technical screening with the hiring manager and a principal engineer. They asked me a bunch of questions back-to-back to gauge my knowledge. I got a call from HR afterwards saying I did great and made a really positive impression. They asked about my salary expectations again and if I was open to negotiation if it wasn't a perfect match, which I said yes to. The HR person said they'd check with their team and get back to me soon. And that was it. It's been 3.5 weeks now, and I haven't heard anything else – no emails, no updates, just ghosted. I even sent a follow-up email about two weeks later, and they didn't even bother to reply, whether it was good news or bad. I expected more professionalism from this company, especially after I put in so much time. Honestly, even if they offered me the job now, I'd probably decline because it shows how they treat their employees. I wouldn't recommend them based on this.

First they make you take this sort of IQ test, it's a mix of basic math, reading comprehension, and character trait questions, none of which is hard on its own, but given the time constraints it is very difficult to get everything right on time, especially if it is your first time taking such a test. That is followed by a technical online evaluation, which consists of some multi-choice questions regarding html, css and javascript (all very basic) and concludes with two timed algorithmic problems that can be solved in pseudocode. Having passed this you move on to a live interview with a technical lead, they go over your cv, interests etc and do a more rigorous evaluation of your skills. It ends with some live coding of a problem which they guide you through in real time. Finally you may get assigned a group or an individual programming task, and this concludes the processes.
