Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Upstream.
Performance Marketing Manager
After passing the first screening, I was sent an assignment via email by an HR person. I replied asking about the salary for the role, as I wouldn't spend my personal time on assignments without knowing the pay. I also mentioned issues I was having with their assignment program. Despite sending three emails to two HR people, I received no response. My emails were completely ignored. It's clear they don't value candidates, and the 'everyone is replaceable' mentality really shows in their attitude. Zero respect for candidates and zero people management skills.

Campaign Manager
The interview process was really good. The interviewer was very nice during all the interview process, which make me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They gave me a good description of the company and what they do, but what i really liked is that i got to see some of their working spaces (which are really cool) and meet with some of the people of the department. Even finally I was not hired, i appreciated the fact that they called me and gave me some explanation why they didn't proceed with me, not many companies in Greece do this. Some may not even send any feedback at all.

Campaign Manager
The interview process included two evaluations, one numerical and one for marketing, followed by three interviews with HR, the Hiring Director, and the Department Director. The interviewers were friendly and calm, focusing on team fit rather than solely on experience and degrees. They were happy to answer any questions about the company and the role.
- Can you describe your ideal work environment?
- What are the key things you seek in a job?
