The interview had an introduction for about 2 minutes. Then, there was a section focusing on two papers, with questioning for about 15 minutes. This covered one modeling paper and one empirical test paper. Finally, I had to introduce my research proposal, which took about 3 minutes. They didn't ask many questions about my research proposal, mostly focusing on the two papers I presented.

We had a 30 min one-on-one panel interview, where half of it was about role/job duties and the other half was about personal experience and skills. Then, there was a 1 hour written test with 2 questions: one was to write an announcement and the other was to reply to an enquiry email from students.

So, first up you send in your resume and a cover letter. Then, HR does a quick look to see who they wanna talk to. After that, there's usually a quick phone call to check if you're basically qualified. If that goes well, you'll have some more detailed interviews, either in person or online, with a few people. For some jobs, you might have to do a test too. Sometimes, a final chat with higher-ups happens before they check your references. If you get through all that, they'll send a formal offer with the pay and benefits, and then you get onboarded to learn about the company.

HKU School of Clinical Medicine. The interview process was in Chinese only and lasted 30 minutes. There were more than three vacancies. They asked the same question over five times without listening to my answer. During the interview, the examiner often laughed privately. I felt disrespected and it was a very bad interview experience. They weren't actually hiring, which is ridiculous.
