The interview process for this role in the CEO's office was quite drawn out, spanning over a month. It felt disorganized with several last-minute reschedules and a lack of clear timelines. I was passed between different recruiters, making the whole experience feel fragmented. The rejection came via email from someone I hadn't spoken with, and they even got my name wrong, which was pretty careless after such a lengthy process. The interviews with the current team were particularly disappointing; the vibe was condescending and dismissive, making me question the leadership and culture. Honestly, it was one of the messiest interview processes I've been through, and I expected more professionalism given the level of the role.

After applying for this Director of Business Operations role through Uniphore's career site, I received an email from the recruiter to set up a screening call via MS-Teams. The call went well, and the recruiter mentioned I would proceed to speak with executives. I provided my availability. However, after more than a month with no further contact, I was ghosted without any response or feedback. As noted by other reviewers, this unprofessionalism reflects poorly on the company, especially for a startup. This ghosting can negatively impact the company's reputation and future prospects, which I experienced firsthand as it influenced my decision not to pursue acquisition talks with them later, despite my current role as a Corporate Strategy lead at a large tech company.

The interview had 3 rounds , 2 technical and one HR round, In the first technical round, the interviewer asked to do some basic coding questions , that involved hashmap and other data structures The second technical round was mainly focusing on my project and other basic knowledges from computer Networks and Operating systems , and the interviewer also asked one puzzle, Finally, in the HR round they asked a basic intro , and asked why i chose this company All the interviewers were very chill and made me comfortable

The interview process was really smooth. I first chatted with the talent acquisition team. Then, there were technical questions that were relevant and challenging, covering financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. The interviewer was knowledgeable and gave good feedback. I was also given a financial scenario to analyze, which tested my analytical skills and how I apply financial principles. I felt confident and clearly explained my approach.
