It was a 4 part interview with 3 back to back virtual interviews. The company seems to value DEI but there was no variation of differences in each person that did the interview. Everyone visually was the same. Finished all rounds and was ghosted after. I think the company can benefit from having a more diverse interview panel.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, with most questions focusing on core Java. They also touched on Spring, Java itself, OOP, SQL, and other related topics. Additionally, there were some more challenging questions about system design and cloud concepts.

Behavioral Case

The interview process was back-to-back calls for three rounds, which I liked because it was completed in a matter of hours. The process went smoothly overall, but the post-interview experience was poor. I followed up every week for a month, and they kept saying they hadn't made a decision. Five weeks later, I got a text from someone at Unified asking if I was still interested. I said yes, and they then said the position wasn't open at the time but I'd be considered when it opened, possibly next year. They also said it was possible the team was considering me for an offer. This was confusing and left me dissatisfied. I really enjoyed talking to the interviewers, and it seemed like a good opportunity, but the post-interview process was terrible, leaving me strung along. My advice is to ask if the Account Strategy Manager position is actually open before wasting time.

I applied online and then had a short 20-minute phone screen to discuss my background and the role. Soon after, I was invited to a 2-hour video interview with three team members. The interview concluded with a practical assessment involving Excel/Google Sheets, requiring me to share my screen and perform various exercises and calculations. I spent over a week preparing and practicing these skills. Despite feeling confident about my interviews, I never received any feedback after following up. While I understand not everyone gets an offer, the lack of communication after such a lengthy interview process was very unprofessional, especially given that others have reported similar ghosting experiences. It felt like a waste of time.
