The interview process involved a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, then a peer panel, and finally an executive conversation. The recruiter was excellent during the initial phone screen, asking relevant questions and really probing into my past experiences. I felt they did a fantastic job. The hiring manager, however, seemed unprepared and somewhat condescending. They asked very few questions and spent most of the time explaining their preferred methods rather than inquiring about my alignment with those methods. I was initially sent two separate links for the hiring manager interview. I joined the link the recruiter provided, anticipating the start time. However, after the scheduled start, I wasn't admitted to the meeting. I then checked my emails and discovered two distinct links had been sent. My advice for anyone pursuing a role here is to meticulously check every link provided and wait to see where someone appears. It felt like a confusing game of waiting.

I had an HR round in September, which was pretty standard. Then, I was supposed to speak with the hiring manager, but just minutes before the interview, she canceled via email and said the recruiter would reschedule. The recruiter never got back to me, despite me reaching out twice. No rejection email either, which was a bummer. I decided to give them another try in January for a Finance Manager role on a different team. A different recruiter handled it and seemed really focused on me taking a step down in title. I got a rejection email the next day. I definitely won't be wasting my time with this company again.

Truepill has a great hiring process and the recruiter that I worked with was very responsive and the process was overall fast and efficient. I did the phone interview then a zoom call interview with an engineer where I had to solve a coding challenge and then I was contacted the day after for a final panel interview which was scheduled the following week based on my availability. I was told clearly what to expect on the final interview but ultimately I decided to take another offer before doing the final interview. but overall this was the smoothest hiring process out of all the companies I interviewed with.

My first phone screen was okay, but the next interview got rescheduled a bunch of times. After I got through that second interview, I talked to the person who would have been my boss, and that went fine. There was supposed to be one last interview where I had to prepare a presentation for the higher-ups. But then I never heard back from them at all. I tried reaching out a few times to say I was still interested, but they just ghosted me. I can handle rejection, but not getting any response was really unprofessional and makes me think I avoided a bad situation.
