First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Truepill.
Software Engineer
Truepill has a great hiring process and the recruiter that I worked with was very responsive and the process was overall fast and efficient. I did the phone interview then a zoom call interview with an engineer where I had to solve a coding challenge and then I was contacted the day after for a final panel interview which was scheduled the following week based on my availability. I was told clearly what to expect on the final interview but ultimately I decided to take another offer before doing the final interview. but overall this was the smoothest hiring process out of all the companies I interviewed with.
- standard coding interview questions and software architecture
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard: first, there was a phone screening, then a technical screening, and finally a virtual onsite with four different engineering teams. The process itself was normal, but what really stood out was how friendly, encouraging, and transparent the team was. Even though I ended up accepting another offer, I left Truepill's interview process with a really good feeling, and if I hadn't gone elsewhere, I would have been super excited to join their engineering team.
- They asked some standard interview questions, including an algorithm problem, a white boarding session, and behavioral questions.
Software Engineer
The interview process at Truepill included a recruiter screening, then a technical screening, followed by a virtual on-site that covered both technical and behavioral aspects. While the engineers were pleasant, the recruiter's unresponsiveness and eventual claim of a hiring freeze after my final round negatively impacted my experience. This suggests poor resource and budget management if true, or unethical ghosting if not, especially given recent job postings.
- Coding problems focused on simple games
