Analyst
This process was time consuming but ultimately okay. I'd recommend it if you're looking. They had 3 interview rounds plus one written exam, which I passed, along with one interview. This was part of campus placements.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your motivations for applying to this role?
- What are your reasons for wanting to work here?
Corporate Development
The interview process had 4 rounds, with a lovely and efficient HR rep. I was grilled on some technical questions though. The company culture seemed miserable given its growth. I was surprised by the number of rounds for an interim role.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you guide me through your resume?
Software Engineer
The whole process was like, first there was this offline test, you know, with aptitude and some technical MCQs. After that, they had a technical interview where they checked my coding and problem-solving. Finally, there was an HR round to see how I communicate, my attitude, and if I'm a good cultural fit.

Area Manager
It was a four step interview process. First was a recruitment call for a suitability/screening interview. They did a quick check on any key experience and salary expectations. The recruiter was lovely and easy to build rapport with. Second, a Teams interview with 2 DSMs who were very professional and friendly, asking competency questions about 10 different areas, and I had to do a presentation of my first 90 days. Third, a face-to-face meeting with a DSM, mostly just general chit-chat about job expectations, more of a get-to-know-you, no real questions, just a conversation. Fourth, a Teams interview with a very senior person (who shall remain nameless for review purposes) from 'asda travelex'. This was supposed to be a get-to-know-you session and a chance to present, with a few general questions, as the DSM explained it to be; he likes to meet candidates before extending an offer. Honestly, this part felt like a waste of my time. An HR lady was also on the call, but the interviewer was so unprofessional. He joined the Teams meeting with his camera off, said he was working from home and not suitably dressed (which was a poor effort). He spent most of the call telling me how difficult the job was, involving a lot of travel, and that he didn’t think much of my current job, claiming it wasn’t as busy as the one I applied for (which is totally incorrect). He thought my current job involved people management but no driving, whereas this job requires travel from site to site (which, being an area manager job, wasn't really new information). I wasn’t asked to do my presentation, and once I mentioned having children, he mostly focused on telling me how many nights I'd have to stay away from home, implying it wouldn't be suitable. Essentially, he had made up his mind before we even spoke and was the least professional person I'd encountered, especially considering his senior position. It's a shame because everyone else was so professional, and he really soured the experience. I'm familiar with the business and understand it well; the main difference for me would have been the travel between sites, and I must have passed the other three stages since I progressed to this fourth interview. His lack of effort during the interview suggests this isn't a company or person I'd want to work for.
- In what ways do you communicate with shareholders?
- Can you share an instance where you managed a difficult situation?
- Recount a time when you had to deliver negative feedback.
