The district manager forgot about the interview twice and made me travel back out a third time over 30 minutes away. She asked about my marriage and my bra size. Then at the end of the interview says she already hired the position I was interviewing for and wanted me to work at a lower position at a different store over an hour away.

My initial contact was via text from the recruiter, which seemed a bit strange. The first interview with the recruiter was unconventional; their casual communication style, while perhaps intended to be friendly, felt unprofessional and made me question their seriousness about the hiring process. Following that, I had a conversation with the Marketing Manager, which I found to be positive. However, after that interview, the company went silent, providing no updates on the hiring status or decisions through any channel. This lack of communication was quite unprofessional and has led me to decide against future applications with Torrid.
