So I applied online, and then got a call from HR to discuss my background, what I'm looking for, and what my salary expectations are. They also told me about the role and the company. Then there were a few technical rounds. The first one was a coding challenge, then a deep dive into Java, Spring Boot, microservices, databases, and system design. The third technical round was more about advanced topics like scalability and microservices patterns, and how to solve real-world problems. After that, I had a managerial round where we talked about my past projects, how I make decisions, and my teamwork and communication skills. Finally, there was an HR round to finalize the salary and talk about the joining date.

So it was a pretty standard interview for a Product Manager role. The whole thing had about 4 stages. First up was an HR screening where they just talked about my past experience. Then I had an interview with a Product Manager from a different department. After that, I did a product case study, one on one, with a senior product person. Finally, I interviewed with the team or teams I'd be working with.

I was invited to interview because I participated in a hackathon organized by the company. The interview had one round. First, I spoke with HR who told me about the company, and then I talked with my future boss, the senior project manager. We talked about my background and what the job would involve. After that, I spent two hours working on logic puzzles and tasks, discussing my solutions with the senior project manager. They seemed most interested in my thinking process and communication skills, rather than getting the 'right' answers. The company sent an offer a few weeks later, and everyone was polite.

So first there was the hr interview, we mostly just chatted about my background and what I'm doing now. Then came the tech screening, which took about an hour. They asked a bunch of questions covering a wide range of stuff - Swift specifics like types, memory management, CoW, and type erasure; platform stuff like UI, multithreading, and persistence; and also architecture, like different patterns and SOLID principles. After that, there was a 1.5 hour technical cases interview on Coderpad. It was pretty much the same questions from the screening but way deeper, and I had to write some code or figure out what code outputted.
