Software Engineer
The recruiter reached out to me. The hiring process had 5 stages: a screening, a platform assessment, an algorithms test, a system design challenge, and a final call with the teams. After each stage, I got detailed feedback from the interviewers via the recruiter.
- Find and fix bugs in the provided function and review the HTTP server.

- Design a popular architecture.
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process has several steps depending on your level: first, an algorithms interview, then an interview focused on your programming language, followed by a system design interview. Finally, you'll have a behavioral interview with your future team or teams if they like your performance.
- Solve a random algorithm problem.
- Discuss the transaction outbox pattern.
- A live system design interview.
Software Developer
This interview involved a Skype call where I was presented with coding questions. My screen was shared, and I interacted with about 4 or 5 employees. The task was to write compilable code within a 2-hour time limit, requiring precise function names. The interviewers' demeanor was quite rude, and they explicitly stated I couldn't ask any questions, which struck me as a major red flag. I regret not ending the call earlier given their behavior. However, the HR manager who coordinated the process was very pleasant and seemed regretful about the outcome.
- Count the number of sign changes in a given sequence of numbers.
- For a given Seq[Future[String]], return the aggregation result of those as a Future[(Seq[String], Seq[Throwable])].
