The first interview was pretty standard, though there was another candidate in the room which was a bit odd. I got invited to a second round, which was with a group of other candidates, and I wasn't expecting that. The interviewer asked usual questions, but there were definitely some red flags. The job I applied for was Client Services Representative. She explained a path starting as a trainee for 6 days, paid 1k per week, then moving up to Director of Operations within 6 months, which was completely different from the job description HR gave me. She claimed these directors make six figures a week after only 6 months. When I asked what they do, she just said building trust with clients, involving door-to-door sales and calling people about a product they don't even sell. I was also told I'd take marketing courses and teach the material back to the team. Another thing was that within a month, I'd be recruiting people, which also wasn't in the original job description. The 'third' interview was just a casual chat asking if I had questions. The interviewer seemed way too relaxed and said the company doesn't care about sales, only moving up to Director of Operations. This whole thing felt like a pyramid scheme or MLM targeting college students. The CEO responds to reviews but nothing changes.

Behavioral

The first part of the interview was pretty typical. They asked me some behavioral questions and about my past experiences. Then, they told me what the job would involve and what the hours were. I got a bit of a bad feeling when the interviewer said their company culture was like a family and that the weekly pay was about $500 plus commission. Also, the work hours were from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and half day on Saturday. It just felt like too much time for not enough pay. I went to the third round just to see, but I already knew this company wasn't worth my time and seemed like they were trying to find someone desperate and take advantage of them.
