First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Think Together.
Teacher
For the interview, we need to know about your strategies for working with kids. You'll also have to do a demo lesson, where you'll be given a prompt to teach something, like how to do a specific task. There will be around 4 people on the interview panel.
- Can you share a bit about yourself?
- How do you engage with children?
- What are your most effective teaching techniques?
Program Leader
I had a phone screen with a recruiter, then I got scheduled for a pre-employment test which had multiple choice and spelling questions. After passing that, I interviewed with the site coordinator. They liked me and made an offer, which I accepted. Then I got live scanned the same day.
- How do you decide what gets top priority when scheduling your time?
Program Manager
I got an email invite for an interview and set it up using their scheduling link. However, a few days later, they sent another email saying they've decided to move forward with a different candidate. This is strange because I hadn't even had the interview yet, so why invite me if you already had someone else in mind to hire.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Site Coordinator
Be careful applying here. I was offered a position and put in a week's notice with a previous employer. Signed the offer and did my TB test and background check. About a week later (after a surprise 3rd interview the day before), my offer was rescinded. If you apply just keep the door with a previous employer open.
- What's your approach when an employee calls in sick or needs to leave early?
