Data Engineer
I recently had an interview with TFT and had a good experience, there were in total 3 rounds of interviews. Round one was a 30-minute SQL assessment with questions ranging from easy to medium difficulty. Round 2 was purely technical, lasting about 45 minutes, with questions on Python, GCP Dataflow, and some SQL questions. Round 3 was a client round that went for an hour. After that, I received confirmation that I cleared, and finally, there was an HR round. The interviewers were friendly and good people to talk to. The process took about 2-3 weeks. The overall difficulty level was average to medium.

- Python
- GCP Dataflow
Scrum Master
HR set up the first technical interview, which was supposed to be an hour long. It felt like it went okay. The person interviewing me seemed inexperienced and was Googling most of the questions, not very knowledgeable. I passed that first round. The HR then asked if I was free for a second round, and I said yes, but they never actually sent an invitation. Now the HR isn't answering my calls, emails, or anything. It's pretty unprofessional how they're handling things, not giving any updates to candidates.
- Tell me about Scrum Ceremonies.
- What would you do in this specific scenario?
- Can you explain some basic scrum terminologies?
Golang Developer
Interview process was quite long. First was a technical interview, then a technical interview with the director, followed by a client round, and finally HR. The first interviewer seemed to have less experience than me and asked me all about Golang concepts for about 1.2 hours. In the second round, the interviewer had more experience, but you can't judge someone on one small mistake. He gave me a goroutine code problem. I was almost done, but he said it wasn't quite right, and then asked me for 3-4 more coding problems which I solved immediately. His feedback was that everything was good, but I needed to improve on the goroutine part. I mentioned I was close to finishing it, but it was okay. HR only calls you when they need to, and if you call them back for interview results, they don't pick up. I just wanted to know what went wrong to get rejected. It feels like a waste of time. If they want to hire, why conduct interviews without assessing potential? I see why there are so many Glassdoor reviews. My advice is to look at the potential an employee can bring.
- Goroutine channel, slice, array, and basic golang code.
- Tell me about Goroutine.
- Explain channel.
Software Engineer
So the interview process was: First an Aptitude round, then Technical round 1, then Technical round 2, and finally an HR round. They seem to want more security and scrutiny, which is why they had a Technical round 3. You should prepare yourself from scratch because they focus on basic level knowledge too. The questions asked in the overall process covered Binary Search, Sorting algorithms like Selection Sort, Bubble Sort, and Merge Sort, finding the highest occurrences of a character, largest and second largest elements in an array, Recursion (Fibonacci, Factorial), Linked list questions from scratch to easy level, deep questions on Oops concepts and Java concepts, development knowledge based on your resume skills, and a discussion over projects mentioned on your resume.
- Can you explain Binary Search?
- Describe Selection Sort.
- How does Bubble Sort work?
