First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Select Group.
Engagement Manager
It was a 2 round interview process. First round was with the manager and the second round was with a team member. Both rounds were conducted virtually. The interviews included questions on organizational skills and situational questions about handling difficult requests and people issues.
- How do you manage when you have too many priorities?
- How do you handle managing multiple priorities at once?
Account Manager
Interview process was great from the initial call to the final interview, the TA team did a great job with feedback and following up in a timely manner. 3 step interview: 1. Call with internal TA 2. Discovering call with the Director 3. Final Steps with Director and VP - professional experience and getting to know the individual on a personal basis.
- Can you describe your typical sales cycle?
Account Executive
The process was pretty quick and I was able to get all the interviews scheduled without much delay. They also got back to me with feedback pretty fast, and the reason they gave for not making an offer made sense because I hadn't really done the new accounts part before, I'd only ever worked with existing MSAs.
- Could you tell me about your experience breaking into new, unestablished accounts?
Business Planning and Support Specialist
I had two phone screenings with recruiters, and then I met with the client for a 30-minute interview. It felt rushed, and I wasn't given much time to answer. My advice is to give yourself enough time to properly interview candidates. Rushing makes candidates anxious. I only heard back that I was still being considered, and then I was ghosted. Automated rejection emails would have been better than being ghosted.
- Can you tell me about your experience with project management?
