The Raymond Corporation Interview Questions
& Process

It was a super quick 30-minute interview, mostly asking about my resume and projects. They also asked about my plans for future coursework. It was a pretty chill back-and-forth conversation with three people from the department interviewing me.

I got contacted by a recruiter first, then I had interviews with two junior team members. The last interview was in-person at the plant in Greene, which included a tour. I met with a few people there, like my future manager and an HR person. The in-person part had a really easy programming question at the start.

It started with a screening phone call, mostly just asking why I was interested in the job and then setting up the in-person interview. The in-person part had an HR chat, then two tech rounds with the team, and finally, I met with the head of the department. Then a background check was initiated.

It was a pretty casual interview process with three rounds. The first two rounds were remote, and the last one was in-person. I talked to two people in the first interview, and then seven people in the second and third interviews combined, though many were the same folks. It didn't feel stressful, more like a regular conversation than an interrogation. The engineers mostly talked about my background and strengths, while HR focused on my personality. The only downside was the whole thing took over 7 weeks to wrap up, but that was mostly because I was interviewing during the holiday season.
