Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Raymond Corporation.
Assistant Manager
The first round went well, but the second round was not a good experience. The schedule wasn't followed. The managers and management were humble, but candidates were kept unclear about their status until the end. Communication seemed very positive initially, but the final decision was different.
- Can you tell me about your journey so far?
Management Trainee
The first in-person interview was a one-on-one with the hiring manager. They asked about my skills, work history, availability, and what they're looking for in the ideal candidate.
- What makes you choose retail?
Manager
There might be a few interviews, but hang in there 'cause they're just trying to find the perfect fit for you. You might talk to the direct managers and even some execs, depending on the role. They don't give much feedback if you don't get picked, so if you don't hear back, it's probably not a good sign.
