The interview process was great. I felt comfortable talking to the HR specialists and the supervisors that interviewed me. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming. I never felt uneasy or nervous during the process and all my questions or concerns were answered and clarified. I was offered the position I was most interested in out of three they interviewed me for and I am currently in my second week of training. So far it has been a smooth transition and a great experience. I'm looking forward to learning more everyday and excelling in my new position at Mark Travel. My supervisor is easy to talk to and always makes sure we touch base about my training so far. My co-workers are friendly and patient with on-boarding. I have no complaints.

The recruiter, Lindsay (Zagar) Britton, was really helpful. She made a big effort to find me a position that was a great fit. Even though one job didn't work out, she looked for other opportunities and found me the role I accepted and really like. I'm happy with how things ended up, and a lot of that is thanks to Lindsay.

It started with an intern asking for my availability for a phone call, then I had a 45-minute call with Lindsay Zager from HR. We went through my resume and she asked some questions to clarify my responsibilities and challenges. She also asked aptitude and personality questions to see if I'd fit the Mark Travel Corporation's culture, as they want social and energetic team members. Lindsay said, "we're not looking for someone who wants to work the 8-5 and wear their headphones the whole day." A few days later, I found out they wanted an in-person interview. It took about a month and a week from submitting my resume to getting an offer. The in-person interview started with Lindsay talking about how great Mark Travel is. Then the Director of Groups and Manager of Groups interviewed me, asking for situational examples from my past work. After that, there's a personality test called Kolbe (no wrong answers) and a background check. Any planned holidays before you're hired are called Conditions On Employment, and you should be able to get them off.

Had a phone interview with the HR Coordinator. Then, an in person interview with Lindsay the Corporate Recruiter, who was great and made me feel at ease. It wasn't typical canned questions, more of a conversation. Didn't get the first job but Lindsay encouraged me to apply for others. Next, a phone interview with Lindsay for another position, then an interview with the director. That was also laid back and comfortable. Great company, awesome benefits, owner truly cares. An employee of 20+ years told me he'd do anything for Bill Sr. a week after I started, which confirmed it was the right decision.
