Really enjoyed the interview process. Started with Tony, who wanted to understand my thinking and asked some basic questions that weren't too tough. Then, I met Joe, an Account Manager, for coffee, which was even more enjoyable. We talked about the job's compensation and business strategies. The last interview was challenging for me, though. Josh was great, but he asked some tough, tricky questions about how I'd stand out and how my skills would fit the role.

I applied online on Sunday, and got an email Monday saying they were delayed in responding. We set up an interview for Tuesday. They said business professional dress was required, which I thought was a bit strange since that's usually standard. I got two confirmations the morning of the interview, I guess to make sure I'd show up. During the interview, they didn't really explain the job details, only mentioning that I'd discuss payment if I moved on to a second interview. When I asked about the day-to-day tasks, they said I'd have to go through training and learn the ropes first, but didn't specify what the training involved. The whole thing felt off, like they were intentionally vague to get me to come back for another round.

The interview process was a bit different than what I'm seeing, so I wanted to share my experience. I have a master's degree in business and was tired of the corporate grind when I interviewed at The Intercoastal Group. I went through three rounds and got the job. The first interview was with a manager who looked over my resume, asked about me, my career goals, and interests. It was a relaxed, friendly chat where they really got to know me. The second interview was with a current trainer over coffee. The role was for a B2B telecom position with AT&T and DIRECTV. The trainer explained the job duties and growth opportunities, and asked some tough questions to gauge my mental capacity and see if it was a good fit. The third interview was short but the hardest. They asked detailed questions about what I'd learned about the company and really challenged my thinking, making me work for it. I was thrilled to get the offer! Coming from financial advising, it's refreshing that this company prioritizes agent development. I'm a month in and on track to make $43,000 plus incentives. I'm really happy here!

I wanted to share my positive interview experience at The Intercoastal Group. I've been job searching for a while and recently moved to Orlando. I've been to many interviews where the job wasn't what was advertised, so I was hesitant but decided to go. The office was being decorated for Christmas and festive music was playing. I met with a Director who was passionate about the role, which involves consulting and marketing/branding for local businesses in Orlando, not door-to-door sales. I'm glad I went and hope to move to the next step.
