The role was presented as a Corp Trainer position, but it turned out to be a door-to-door sales job. It felt off, especially since I'm not a recent graduate, and the interview felt like they were targeting naive individuals. The interviewer was well-dressed, but I got a strange vibe, particularly when I asked questions about the job and received vague answers about opportunities, which seemed like a tactic. About a month later, two people who identified as 'Corporate Trainers' came to my door. This job might be suitable for recent graduates or those with less experience, but the company is very misleading.

The interview process was a bit different than what I'm seeing, so I wanted to share my experience. I have a master's degree in business and was tired of the corporate grind when I interviewed at The Intercoastal Group. I went through three rounds and got the job. The first interview was with a manager who looked over my resume, asked about me, my career goals, and interests. It was a relaxed, friendly chat where they really got to know me. The second interview was with a current trainer over coffee. The role was for a B2B telecom position with AT&T and DIRECTV. The trainer explained the job duties and growth opportunities, and asked some tough questions to gauge my mental capacity and see if it was a good fit. The third interview was short but the hardest. They asked detailed questions about what I'd learned about the company and really challenged my thinking, making me work for it. I was thrilled to get the offer! Coming from financial advising, it's refreshing that this company prioritizes agent development. I'm a month in and on track to make $43,000 plus incentives. I'm really happy here!

I have 2 words for you... Pyramid Scheme. I also have a hunch the changed their company name to "The Intercoastal Group" to get away from these reviews. I was interviewing to be a "Corporate Trainer". I was given no information on the first day of interviews, but got a call to come in for a second. I was taken out for coffee and "explained" what my job would be. My interviewer wrote down all of the positions I would move through, which was 4. Start as an "account executive", move onto a "corporate trainer", become an assistant manager, and then manager, and ultimately a partner. This is all crap. They want you to sell door to door 6 days a week all day long. I was called back again after that interview and offered the job. I asked if I would indeed be doing door to door sales, since I had seen these reviews here on Glassdoor. He evaded the question and told me someone would call me to clear it up... Never got a call. It's a SCAM! Don't waste your time if you don't want to be doing door-to-door sales with people who don't care if they're leading you on and wasting your time.
