I went through two rounds of interviews for this position, which I think are MBA interviews. After that, I didn't hear back from them, even after I emailed to inquire about my application status. Later, they changed the job description and posted it again. It's strange for a role that seems to always be hiring, and it's not very professional to ignore candidate inquiries.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Coding Case

After you apply online, the professor or dept will review your CV, transcripts, research interests, and rec letters. If you make the cut, you'll have a preliminary interview via Zoom or phone about your background, research, tech skills, and why you wanna join. The prof might ask about past projects and check your communication. Then, there's an in-depth interview, maybe in person, with more technical questions on research methods, data analysis, or lab skills. You might discuss papers or present your work. Sometimes there's a technical test, like coding, data analysis, a lit review, or a lab task. You might also meet the team to see if you click. You'll hear back in 2-4 weeks after the last interview, and the start date is flexible. The whole thing takes about 1-2 months.

Behavioral Presentation Other

It was pretty straightforward. They wanted scenario-based questions about university students, the tech education culture, and job market realities in Hong Kong. It was a panel with about 6-7 people, though not all spoke at once, maybe 3-4 at a time. I wore a mask because I wasn't feeling well, but I was honest about it and it was fine.
