First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Bridgespan Group.
Associate Consultant
This interview process felt pretty long and not very personal. The first part had two case interviews done online. Since it was mostly a one-way, set format, it was hard to tell how the interviewers were reacting or see their faces, which made it feel a bit like talking to a robot. The next part had two interviews: one was a case exercise, and the other mixed case work with some behavioral questions. The interviewers were professional, but the whole setup still felt really strict. It seemed like they were more focused on just checking answers than having a real chat. Because of how it was set up and the limited talking, it was sometimes tough to know how my answers were being taken as I gave them. So, it felt more like a one-way street than a team effort.

Product Manager
The interview process included a screening followed by three interview rounds. Overall, it was a well-organized and pleasant experience from beginning to end. I had conversations with individuals at the Director, VP, and Partner levels.
- What are your thoughts on what constitutes a high-performing team?
Sharepoint Analyst
My interview at Bridge Span Group started with a phone screening, then I met the manager, followed by an assessment of my work style and a meeting with the senior director of learning. Although I did not get the job, I appreciate how quickly they responded and suggest asking for feedback on your interview.
- Can you start by telling me a little about yourself?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle conflict and how you managed it.
Executive Assistant
I got an email back from HR the same day I applied. Had a quick phone chat, then went in for an in-person meeting with another EA and the Office Manager. HR emailed me the same day asking what I thought of the meetings. After six days of silence, I asked HR for an update and they said it was early days and they'd share more in two weeks, suggesting I reach out with questions. A little over two weeks later, I contacted HR again and it's now been a whole month with no word. I get that not everyone is a fit and no one's owed a job, but ghosting people like this is really bad PR.
- Could you describe the office culture?
- Is this a 'mean girls club' environment?
