First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Bridgespan Group.
Associate Consultant
This interview process felt pretty long and not very personal. The first part had two case interviews done online. Since it was mostly a one-way, set format, it was hard to tell how the interviewers were reacting or see their faces, which made it feel a bit like talking to a robot. The next part had two interviews: one was a case exercise, and the other mixed case work with some behavioral questions. The interviewers were professional, but the whole setup still felt really strict. It seemed like they were more focused on just checking answers than having a real chat. Because of how it was set up and the limited talking, it was sometimes tough to know how my answers were being taken as I gave them. So, it felt more like a one-way street than a team effort.

It was very competitive. We started with a 30-minute screening call where I had to answer standard behavioral questions about my education and work experience. After that, I had a phone interview that was focused on casing. The final round was a full day of casing, which took place in the office.
- Can you explain a difficult concept?
Strategy Consultant
There were 5 rounds with people of different levels of seniority leading up to the Partner. The interviews consisted of cases and culture fit rounds. Difficulty was medium - required clear thinking and communication.
- Typical interview case questions were asked, specifically within the social impact industry.
