First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Bridgespan Group.
Administrative Assistant
It was pretty chill and fast. They mainly asked about my past work history and where I worked. They were interested in why I left my last job and how long I was employed there, seems like they care about commitment.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to resolve a conflict?
Executive Assistant
You start with a phone call, then an in-person interview with HR and possibly your future supervisors. They'll review your day-to-day tasks, and you'll meet some other executive assistants to get a feel for the job. You'll also talk about what Bridgespan does.
- Why do you want to work at Bridgespan?
- Can you tell me about your typical daily responsibilities?
- What do you know about the work Bridgespan does?
Executive Assistant
I got an email back from HR the same day I applied. Had a quick phone chat, then went in for an in-person meeting with another EA and the Office Manager. HR emailed me the same day asking what I thought of the meetings. After six days of silence, I asked HR for an update and they said it was early days and they'd share more in two weeks, suggesting I reach out with questions. A little over two weeks later, I contacted HR again and it's now been a whole month with no word. I get that not everyone is a fit and no one's owed a job, but ghosting people like this is really bad PR.
- Could you describe the office culture?
- Is this a 'mean girls club' environment?
