So the interview process, it starts with like an HR round first, just to kind of get a feel for your background and what you're interested in. Then, there are technical rounds where they dive deep into stuff like Python, any automation frameworks you've used, API testing, and how you've handled CI/CD integration. The last part is the final round, where they really want to see how you communicate, how you solve problems, and what you've actually done in your projects.

Group Technical Behavioral

The first round was a group discussion with 8 people on whether technology connects or isolates us. I made sure to start early, contribute well, and listen, focusing on collaboration rather than dominance. I added examples, asked questions, and built on others' points. After being shortlisted, the next round was a combined technical and HR interview with one person. They asked about my background, final year project, OOPs, DBMS, basic coding, and Linux/OS. HR questions included 'tell me about yourself,' strengths/weaknesses, handling pressure, and why Tech Mahindra, plus relocation and shift flexibility. I was honest about what I didn't know but showed willingness to learn. The final round was a short HR chat to reconfirm relocation willingness, shift flexibility, company culture understanding, expected CTC, and availability. It was a conversational wrap-up. Unfortunately, I didn't get selected, but I gained experience in group discussions, handling interviews, and feedback for improvement. My tip for Tech Mahindra applicants is to practice GDs, brush up on fundamentals like DBMS, OOP, and OS, and know your 'why'.

Technical Behavioral Other

So for the Tech Support Executive role, they look at your resume first, see if you're a fit. Then a recruiter gives you a call to check your communication and if you're interested. After that, there's a technical test to see if you know your stuff and can solve problems. Then a manager or lead does a phone or video chat to ask more technical questions about systems, software, and common problems. They might also give you some tricky situations to see how you'd fix them. They also want to make sure you're good with customers, so there will be questions about that. Some jobs require you to come in for an in-person interview with the team. They'll ask you about how you handled past situations, like in a behavioral interview. Then they check your references. Finally, there's a last chat about the company and the role, and if everything goes well, they'll offer you the job and you can negotiate the pay.
