Software Engineer
So the interview process, it starts with like an HR round first, just to kind of get a feel for your background and what you're interested in. Then, there are technical rounds where they dive deep into stuff like Python, any automation frameworks you've used, API testing, and how you've handled CI/CD integration. The last part is the final round, where they really want to see how you communicate, how you solve problems, and what you've actually done in your projects.
- Tell me about your background and what interests you about this position.
- Can you elaborate on your Python skills?
- What automation frameworks have you utilized?
Software Engineer
The interview went well and I completed it successfully, but I never heard back from them. It's been three months, and dealing with this kind of company has been emotionally draining.
- What was your role on the project?
Software Engineer
The technical interview was about half an hour long and covered basic Python, SQL, pandas, and Unix. It started with introductions and then I talked a bit about my projects. After that, they asked about my Python experience and some questions related to it, as well as SQL. I had some trouble with the rest API part, but overall it was a good experience.
- What are some basic Unix commands?
- Can you explain rest API codes?
