The initial phone interview felt pretty standard. After that, the team interview wasn't too stressful. Overall, no real surprises! Just some standard questions, and it was a nice chance to meet the supervisors of the team you'd be working with.

I had to end the interview, because they wanted a list of every single job I had in the last seven years, which was quite a lot since I work on project based contracts and my downtime included temp jobs until my next offer. This would have taken over 30 minutes. I will continue the interview with an email from TDs in writing requesting every listing of non-relevant jobs. They should have specified this in writing before the interview.

Behavioral Technical Other

After about a week, I got a written screen with 15-20 questions. A few days later, HR scheduled a 15m call. I really liked that TDS sends texts throughout the process! A few days after that, I met with the hiring manager. Both the recruiter and hiring manager were super nice. The process was smooth and they stuck to their timeline. Since many roles are customer-facing, a lot of questions focused on customer interactions. I could tell the hiring manager loved her job and the company, which is a big plus for me. I'm now waiting to hear back about an offer. Overall, a really enjoyable process.

Technical Behavioral

The interview was 30 minutes with three technical people, then 30 minutes with managers. The tech team asked me to rate myself on skills from 1 to 10, then they asked questions based on my ratings. They focused on Linux, Java, and SQL for me. Then they talked to managers. It felt rushed, like they had a list. They didn't ask much about my background. The manager part was odd. I told stories about my top qualities, then one manager asked me to repeat the qualities without the story, just to see if I remembered. Super rude! I wouldn't want to work with him. Everything felt rushed, like they had to get through their questions, and I didn't have much time to ask mine.
