Behavioral Technical

It all started with a recruiter call, and they seemed super into my skills and what I'd done before. They talked about the company's values and how they really try to create a supportive vibe for employees, which got me pretty excited about the job. The chat was awesome, I got asked some behavioral stuff, and they said I'd get an email about the next steps soon. But then, nada. They went totally silent and didn't get back to any of my emails after that. Kind of weird, given what they said about the company culture on the call.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I was first contacted by HR for a general phone interview. Then, I went to their office for an in-person interview with the Senior Director of Product Development and a product manager. They gave me a product analysis case to complete over the weekend. After I submitted it, they were happy with my work and asked me to do a presentation over a conference call with them and a director from their Seattle team.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process was pretty standard. I got a call from a recruiter and we scheduled an initial screening. After that, there were two more interviews. One was with two senior leaders for a 'behavioral/situational' chat, and the other was a technical interview with a couple of team members. It's worth noting that the job title/description actually changed during the process (to Software Engineer II - Infrastructure). Unfortunately, communication after that was terrible. They asked if I was open to negotiating, I said yes, and then I just never heard back. If you're going to put someone through multiple rounds, making them rearrange their current work schedules, at least have the decency to give them a clear answer.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation Other

The interview setup was pretty standard: first a quick chat with the recruiter, then a 30min screening with the current Product Manager, followed by a 1.5h interview with both the PM and the Technical Product Owner. Then there was a cultural interview with the team and other PMs. Everyone was super friendly and engaging. I got lots of time to ask questions and a great feel for what working with that team would be like. The whole thing felt more like a bunch of conversations than a one-sided interview. I also had to do a written homework assignment.
