Software Engineer
It all started with a recruiter call, and they seemed super into my skills and what I'd done before. They talked about the company's values and how they really try to create a supportive vibe for employees, which got me pretty excited about the job. The chat was awesome, I got asked some behavioral stuff, and they said I'd get an email about the next steps soon. But then, nada. They went totally silent and didn't get back to any of my emails after that. Kind of weird, given what they said about the company culture on the call.
- Can you tell me about the technology stack you have experience with?
- Tell me about yourself / your past experiences.
Senior Software Engineer
It was a long process. We had a 1-hour technical interview that included basic Java questions, code review, a design problem, and algorithm solving. Then there was a 30-minute chat with the company director, followed by a 1-hour cultural interview with the Product Manager, which also had a lot of behavioral questions.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your work motivation?
- Did you make any architectural decisions in your past jobs?
- What aspects of your previous company did you appreciate, and what did you not like?
Software Engineer
It was a general software-based interview. They asked me to tell them more about myself, and then there was one programming DSA question, like a LeetCode easy, and also some questions about my work experience. They also asked some more general technical questions covering both front-end and back-end software development.
- Tell me about yourself, solve a LeetCode easy DSA problem, and answer some questions about your experience.
- Some general technical questions about front-end and back-end software development.
