The interview setup was pretty standard: first a quick chat with the recruiter, then a 30min screening with the current Product Manager, followed by a 1.5h interview with both the PM and the Technical Product Owner. Then there was a cultural interview with the team and other PMs. Everyone was super friendly and engaging. I got lots of time to ask questions and a great feel for what working with that team would be like. The whole thing felt more like a bunch of conversations than a one-sided interview. I also had to do a written homework assignment.

Behavioral Technical

My first interview went great, but the second one was really tough. The people interviewing me were so cold and distant, making me question why they even set up the interview. They'd constantly interrupt me and jump from one question to another without letting me finish. Their tone was super condescending, they wouldn't make eye contact, and they kept fidgeting like they had better things to do. It really gave me a sense of what it might be like working there, at least in product management. After all that, they just ghosted me completely.

I interviewed with HR first, and then the hiring manager. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer because they had to change direction due to COVID, but I did get good feedback from both. I'm planning to reapply when the opportunity comes up again.
