The interview process had about four rounds, all on Google Meet. It started with a Recruiter PS Team Member Screen, then a Sourcing Exercise, and ended with a Final Meeting with the Head of Business Development. It was pretty quick, with weekly follow-ups until after the final round. I interviewed in November 2025 and got rejected on 2/6/25. The process was fine until the last interview. The Head of BD was curt, fidgety, and disengaged while I was talking. They made a comment about me being 'candidate focused/driven,' which is my job as a recruiter. I think the role is more of a 'talent partner' or 'consultant' given its scope. The whole process could be better. Getting back to a candidate three months later is not okay.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was fine and the people were nice. However, I was pushed to do an interview at a bad time for my time zone right after returning from a funeral. Still, I did it because I was really interested in the role. After the interview, I didn't get any rejection or feedback even after following up multiple times. It's pretty contradictory to talk about a strong culture and valuing your team when there's such little respect for the time and effort put into the interview process.

I talked to an internal recruiter who was really engaged and asked thoughtful questions. They were clear about what they needed for the job. But, the role wasn't quite what I was expecting, so I decided not to move forward. The whole process has 3 stages: Recruiter, Values, and Recruiting & Sourcing.

It was a simple enough process; an intro chat, a values chat and a presentation style interview with a co-founder. Somehow this took Talentful three months from end-to-end, and three weeks from final to giving a decision. The decision was ultimately a no, but they stressed it was purely because other recruiters were willing to take less, but the feedback had been excellent throughout. It was incredibly hard to get clarity on the specific role, as on multiple occasions it was confused which role I was interviewing for, and they even got the wrong role on the rejection email. The internal recruiter was hard to get hold of. They ignored my emails or took multiple days to respond, and would miss their own deadlines for when they promised they would get back to me. I know others at Talentful who said they had a similar experience with said recruiter. To give balance, I did enjoy the interviews in isolation and they seemed like nice people, but there's such an irony to be asked about candidate experience in interview when Talentful have offered the worst candidate experience I've ever seen. Don't waste your time unless you have literally nothing else available in this market - sadly, Talentful knows this is likely the case, hence the low salaries and willingness to string you along.
