I had one phone interview. Initially, there were some scheduling issues, and the interview had to be rescheduled, but that was okay. The phone interview itself went fine, and the recruiter who called me seemed pleasant. She then scheduled me for an in-person interview two weeks later. About a week before my interview, I tried to contact her to confirm, but I didn't hear back. Then, two days before the interview, I checked again and finally received a response that the company was no longer hiring and that I wouldn't be interviewing. They didn't even let me know about this decision. Considering I was traveling from out of state, and they were aware of this, it was incredibly inconsiderate. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. I won't be considering any Talener offices for future employment.

I applied through a recruiter and had an interview at Talener in San Francisco. The recruiter who contacted me came in first. They reviewed my resume and asked general questions that were already on my resume. Then, they introduced me to their team of three other people, and I had to answer the same questions again! The recruiter had previously emailed me about two job openings with well-known companies, but when I inquired, they said they'd have details next week. However, I never heard back from them. It seems like they don't actually have the job openings they claimed to have when we spoke.

Started with a phone call to go over basic recruiting knowledge. Then had an in person interview at the office. It was a pretty standard interview where two employees talked a lot about the company and their team's work. Neither knew me or my background from the initial call. It was okay, but I felt they didn't really grasp my recruiting experience.

HR reached out and asked some basic questions and gave me the lowdown on the role. I set up an in-person interview for the next day in Manhattan. There, I met with a director and a manager. The director did a professional interview, discussing my past work experience and my interest in recruiting. The manager was more laid-back, giving me a detailed overview of a typical workday and what to expect from the company. They mentioned HR would contact me for a second interview. About a week later, I had my second interview, meeting another director and several more managers. It was great chatting with them and hearing about their experiences at the company.
