First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Syndigo.
Account Executive
The first interview with the recruiter was good, they were helpful and informative. The second interview with the hiring manager wasn't as great. They asked a lot of old-school behavioral questions. They didn't ask about my current role or what they're hiring for. When I asked questions about the role at the end, they seemed annoyed and angry. It was a strange experience.

This is for a very limited amount of people but I wanted to share my experience from a general perspective. I haven't been hired yet, but I did just complete my first interview. My first impression with this company has been great in terms of professionalism, organization, and communication. They reached out to me via email a few days after sending in my application and asked me to set up a time for an interview through their online scheduler. It was easy and straightforward because I just picked a time and date from their availability list that worked best for me. This was a 30 minute phone interview and I was called the exact time I was scheduled. Also in the email were a few links to "allow you to learn more about Syndigo." I thought it was a nice touch to offer those resources because I see it as them wanting to support you to succeed. This gives me the impression they value working together as a team which I wouldn't necessarily expect from a global company. The interviewer was very personable, positive, and upbeat. I was asked the normal questions and she even skipped a few since they were apparently already answered in my resume and cover letter. Because of that our chat was cut short by about 10 minutes so that was really nice. I wasn't grilled and felt like I could relax and even be a little open-ended in my responses. She was transparent and thorough about the position and was patient when I took the time to think about any questions I might have. Today is a Friday and she said she should be able to reach out to me this Monday to let me know if I'll be moving forward to the 2nd interview as an hour long online video chat with my prospective supervisors. Overall, I'm very pleased with the process and wouldn't change a thing! Hope everyone else's experiences go as smoothly as mine. 10/10
- What are the qualities you look for in a leader and how would you describe your own leadership style?
Presales Consultant
My experience here was super frustrating, honestly I feel like I dodged a bullet! Such an unprofessional hiring process! I went through 4 interviews and even had to do a cognitive test (seriously, like back in 1999!). The Hiring Manager kept telling me the contract was 'just around the corner,' but then in the end, they said they couldn't hire anyone for the European role because their Legal team would take months to approve it. No recruiter or HR was even involved; the HM was my only contact. The HM seemed so swamped that I had to schedule every single Zoom call myself. The HM and the other people I talked to were nice and seemed competent, but this company feels really old-school, like they don't know how to build a modern presales team. The tech itself seems solid, but after this whole ordeal, I really can't recommend interviewing here or working for them.

Sales Operations Director
I was contacted by Syndic and asked if I wanted to interview. I had two phone interviews, followed by a really quick set of three in-person interviews with executives. The first one with the CFO went great and was detailed, but it ran super long. This meant the next two interviews, one with the SVP of Sales and one with the CIO, were really short, like 8 and 16 minutes respectively. I figured then they'd wasted my time and I just left without any info on what happens next. It's been 17 days and I still haven't heard anything back, no update, not even a rejection. Super unprofessional way to handle the hiring process.
