Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Syndigo.
Account Executive
The first interview with the recruiter was good, they were helpful and informative. The second interview with the hiring manager wasn't as great. They asked a lot of old-school behavioral questions. They didn't ask about my current role or what they're hiring for. When I asked questions about the role at the end, they seemed annoyed and angry. It was a strange experience.
- Tell me about a past workplace conflict and how you resolved it.
Account Executive
It was unprofessional and messy. I applied in early April, referred, but no response for over two weeks. Then I had a phone screener that went well. I was sent an aptitude test and completed it. I followed up with the recruiter twice, but got no response. After a few weeks, I was sent another aptitude test. I emailed the recruiter to check if I should do it but never heard back. I took it anyway. A week or two later, I got a generic rejection email.
- Can you share details about your background?
- What is your experience in this area?
Sales Executive
The process had three parts. First, a phone call. Then, a Zoom with the recruiter. Finally, a Zoom with the recruiter and the sales director. They gave a quick rundown of the company and what they expect from someone in this role.
- What are your expectations for being successful in this position?
