The whole thing took like 3-4 weeks. First, I had a quick call with HR. After that, I had two separate 30-minute calls with engineering managers, and either one of them could end up being my direct supervisor for the summer.

It was a nice and straightforward process. I made it to the final interview but didn't get the job. They did not provide a reason for their decision and then I was left on read when I reached out to ask. Not a great way to end things.

The interview process here is pretty bad. You can expect at least 6 interviews. First, there's a recruiter chat, then you talk to your potential manager, and after that, you'll have an interview with four of your potential colleagues. After all that, you'll just get ghosted. Seriously, if you try to follow up with emails, they won't reply. They won't even send a basic rejection email, they just disappear. It's really annoying. I interviewed over a month and a half ago and I'm still waiting for an official rejection. They really need to be more human in their hiring process. Job searching is tough enough, we don't need this added stress.
