Flight Attendant
So first, you submit an online application. If that goes well, you'll have an assessment day with group exercises and role-playing. If you pass that, there's a 1-on-1 interview focusing on how you communicate and handle customer service. After that, a uniform check to make sure you look professional. Then a final review. If you get through all that, you'll get a training offer to kick off your career. It's all about checking your teamwork, how you adapt, and your service skills.
- Can you describe a situation you encountered and how you dealt with it?
- What are your motivations for seeking employment with us?
Pilot
The interview process was smooth. I spoke with a former air force pilot who was very clear about their expectations. The interviewer asked many challenging questions about my piloting experience. It seemed like a great company, but I ultimately decided to pursue other opportunities.
- Are you capable of flying a military aircraft?
Flight Attendant
It was a super straightforward process, they hired on the spot! You do have to commit most of the day, but I like that way better than multiple interviews spread out. They had us do a luggage lift test over our heads, test sitting in a jumpseat, and check for a valid passport. The interview was in a group setting, and then also one-on-one. Make sure any visible tattoos on your hands, wrists, neck, and face are covered with makeup, or they will end the interview. Also, be ready to leave for flight attendant school for about 30-40 days.
- How do you deal with an unhappy customer?
Crew Scheduler
First, there was a phone call to chat about the job details and benefits. Then, I went to the Miramar office for an in-person interview. We met in a conference room where they talked about the company and introduced some people who started as crew schedulers and got promoted fast. After that, we did a few different things. I was pulled out of the room for a 1 on 1 interview with two team members. Then, there was a time zone map test and an Excel test. No drug test was mentioned. I received an offer a few days after.
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?
- How would you prioritize quality, safety, service, and value?
- Using the provided map, if a flight departs from MCO at 9 AM, what time would that be in Las Vegas?
