There were several questions about your past work experiences, but nothing particularly unique. The interview process with the training manager was very friendly. It started with an introduction to her and general questions about me. Then, I was asked about my motivation for wanting to do the apprenticeship, my strengths and weaknesses, and my future aspirations. These were general questions to get to know me better. Afterwards, there was a small case study about what I would do in a given situation. Overall, it was very friendly and nice.

The communication was very friendly. The interview lasted an hour and I felt very comfortable. There were several people present. Typical questions were asked, from the resume to personality, including strengths and weaknesses. There were no technical questions because I am a career changer. The only negative thing I noticed was waiting two months for feedback.

My application process at Sparkasse Gummersbach didn't go as I expected. After a long wait for the interview, it took place in an unprepared room, which seemed unprofessional to me. The advertised position promised a responsible role in IT management. However, during the interview, they offered a classification into a much lower pay scale (TVöD) than I thought was appropriate for the responsibility and requirements of the job. When I asked about a higher classification, they said it wasn't possible. I also noticed that after my written response, they repeatedly tried to reach me by phone late at night, which isn't my usual practice. Ultimately, after I demanded fair compensation, I was told the offer was withdrawn.
