The hiring process for this role felt long and drawn out, especially considering the pay. It started with a detailed questionnaire, then a phone interview, and finally a video interview with several people. Although everything seemed to go well, I was told I'd hear back in two weeks. It made me wonder if the company was struggling, as I later found out some employees were being let go or moved into this position during that time. Maybe it's for the best I didn't get the job, even though I was really looking forward to it.

it was a 4 phase interview, which was intense but appropiate. I had to show my industry and product knowledge and express passion for the products. I had to present to managers on selling products. There was also a mock call type interview. Managers enjoyed my rapport during and after each phase for their view of interpersonal skills.

I saw the job on craigslist and applied. Then I connected with the recruiter on LinkedIn and we had a quick phone chat and decided to move forward. The next day, I talked more in-depth with the hiring manager and another QA engineer. It went well, and they were great at explaining how good the company is. Next week, I had in-person interviews, a set of five, with people from different departments. It was informative and pretty casual. Three days after that, I got an offer. I reviewed the benefits and accepted after a little negotiation. They did a background check and asked for a drug screening. It felt pretty standard overall. The people I met seemed nice and easy to talk to. It's a shame the recruiter, who was a contractor, found another contract during my hiring process; she was one of the best I've worked with.
