Had an interview with the manager, then a call with the director. The manager interview was very personable and focused on my background. The interview with the director was a bit more technical, asking about sales techniques and my reasons for wanting to work at Smartling.

The interview process was smooth! I had a total of 4 interviews. First was a recruiter intro call, then a hiring manager call. The third interview involved a take home mock ticket and presentation. After finishing the mock ticket, I presented my thought process to a panel of team members. The last interview was with the VP of Customer Success, where I answered general questions about my experience and how I approach tickets. Overall, the process was smooth and quick! Everyone was very kind and responsive, and I'm sad to say that I didn't move forward with the offer. Smartling seems like a great company to work for!

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a super long interview process that finished really badly. I went through 4 interviews over 2 weeks. I made it to the last round, which was supposed to be a presentation of an exercise they sent me. But on the day of the presentation, 2 hours before it was scheduled, I got an email saying they hired someone else and cancelled the interview. It felt like a really unprofessional way to end a long process, especially since I was disappointed.
