A recruiter reached out to me first. Then I had a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I was given a case study to complete. They really focused on getting to know me and how I do research.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The first interview was a long get-to-know-you session, focusing on my background and understanding of the company. If that went well, I had to complete a one-hour timed exam, which wasn't difficult but took a lot of time. After that, there was another lengthy interview with the local leader, covering similar topics like my knowledge of SKIM and why I want to work there. This was followed by a case study where I had 15 minutes to analyze three graphs and explain the data, which felt rushed and designed to test how I perform under pressure. The final stage involved a presentation of myself. Overall, the process felt more demanding than expected for the role and compensation, and I felt I had prepared extensively.

Behavioral Presentation

This whole process took 6 weeks. I had four interviews, three assessments, and a presentation. The recruiter contacted me after the first interview and suggested I might be a better fit for a different role. So, the next two interviews were with directors discussing what this new position could entail. I wasn't told the new job title or given a job description until an hour into my final in-person interview. Ultimately, I didn't get an offer. The feedback was that I seemed more interested in SKIM's culture than the company itself, which is strange given I didn't even know the job specifics until the very end. To make matters worse, one interviewer accidentally revealed the job description was created the day before the interview. It felt like the interview was more about justifying the role's existence than my qualifications for it. The final interview also felt unprofessional due to the interviewer's casual attire. I suspect HR had already decided against the new position and was just wasting my time.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty straightforward process. Started with HR screening, then a chat with a manager, followed by an assessment and a personality quiz. The final stage involved a presentation about myself, which felt a bit unusual for an analyst role, and then a "coffee chat" with two junior team members. The presentation had about 6 people involved. I got an automated rejection the next day, unfortunately, which was disappointing since I was really keen on SKIM. I suspect my presentation on past experiences wasn't what they were looking for, and I was quite nervous.
